On the afternoon of January 10, the “Shanghui Qingdao, Co-creating the Future—‘Shandong Businesspeople Returning Home’ Supporting Qingdao’s Modern Industrial System Construction Promotion Conference” was held at Fuxin Building. Guo Jianli, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Lu Wenpeng, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; and Cui Zuo, Vice Chairman of the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Qingdao Federation of Industry and Commerce, and President of the Qingdao General Chamber of Commerce, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Over 80 representatives from overseas business associations, provincial business associations based in Qingdao, non-local Qingdao Business Associations, private enterprises, and overseas Chinese businesses participated in the event. The Chairman of Highroad International Logistics Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the “dual recruitment and introduction” project signing ceremony.
During the event, eight investment projects were signed, including the HRL Sino-African Trade “Logistics + Inspection and Certification” Chain Service Platform Project and the Saudi Arabian Bitmain Group China Procurement and Sales Platform Project. These projects cover industries such as life and health, green energy, and intelligent equipment. The Qingdao Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Qingdao Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese signed a framework agreement for group collaboration. The Qingdao Bureau of Commerce and the SCO Demonstration Area made investment promotion presentations.
The Sino-African Trade “Logistics + Inspection and Certification” Chain Service Platform Project, jointly developed over one year by HRL, the Qingdao Sino-African Chamber of Commerce, and China Certification & Inspection Group (Africa) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CCIC Africa”), combines HRL’s robust logistics capabilities with CCIC Africa’s professional quality and technical service system to create an efficient and reliable global supply chain system. This collaboration significantly enhances the safety and efficiency of cargo transportation and injects new vitality and development opportunities into Sino-African trade.
Chairman Huang Jingyi explained that after the project launch, HRL’s end-to-end logistics solutions were integrated with CCIC Africa’s intelligent inspection technology services. Every step, from pickup to final delivery, undergoes stringent intelligent inspection and secure digital monitoring, achieving full visualization. This ensures that goods consistently meet high standards throughout the transportation process, reducing delays and losses caused by factors such as weight and quality discrepancies, and significantly improving logistics efficiency. The establishment of the chain service platform enables customers to complete a series of necessary inspection and testing procedures locally in Africa, increasing coordination between loading and unloading at both ports. This reduces the need for duplicate inspections upon the goods’ arrival in China, thereby lowering overall supply chain costs.
In the future, the chain service platform project will provide high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective comprehensive services, enhancing the market competitiveness of Chinese enterprises in Africa and contributing to the advancement of global economic integration. As more African countries join the platform, it is expected that more Chinese enterprises will benefit and achieve broader international cooperation and development.
