The Deputy Prime Minister of the Ministry of Transport of the Congo (DRC), Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo, announced the opening of the first Congo (DRC) – China Investment Economic Forum in Beijing on behalf of the President of DRC , with over 300 dignitaries and business representatives from China and the Congo attending. The Vice Minister of Commerce of China, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to China , as well as the Ministers of Finance, Mining, Infrastructure, and Commerce were present.
Chairwoman Huang Jingyi communicated with Congolese government officials and domestic and international business representatives. Africa, as an emerging market, represents new opportunities for Chinese enterprises to “go global.” HRL, as a leading Chinese logistics company, has been active in the African market since 2007 and has extensive experience in shipping and logistics. It has achieved remarkable results in agriculture, engineering, and trade, providing logistics supply chain support for a series of influential projects aimed at entering the African market.
HRL has been authorized by the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Multimodal Transport Management Bureau to become the global agent for FERI/AD, enabling it to issue electronic cargo tracking documents required for customs clearance in 24 African countries. The company’s partnership with China Inspection Group operates a bonded regulatory warehouse in Africa, providing comprehensive logistics and inspection certification services from African mines to designated delivery locations within China.
In the future, HRL will continue to uphold the corporate philosophy of sincerity, dedication, and aspiration, while continuously expanding its business in Africa to enhance the safety and convenience of import-export enterprises engaged in trade with Africa. As this year’s summit theme declares, “Together advancing modernization, building a high-level Sino-African community of shared destiny,” the peoples of Africa, China, and the world will work hand in hand to create a new landscape of human societal modernization with flourishing diversity.
