Africa, a distant and mysterious land, is rich in natural resources and cultural landscapes. The countries on this continent share a deep traditional friendship with China and are our close partners, advancing together hand in hand.
As the Ambassador of the Uganda Coffee Industry Alliance to China, HRL presented BUZZPERK (Ba Shi Pai Coffee) at a national-level exhibition for the first time, collaborating with the Uganda Coffee Development Authority Nucafe to showcase high-quality Ugandan coffee beans and coffee products, offering consumers a unique African coffee experience. The Ugandan Ambassador to China, H.E. Amb. Oliver Wonekha, also attended the event and expressed recognition and praise for HRL and BUZZPERK’s efforts in promoting Uganda’s coffee industry in China.
In recent years, the demand for coffee in China has been rising steadily, and the market for imported coffee beans has been expanding. As one of the world’s major coffee producers, Uganda enjoys a strong reputation for the quality of its coffee on the international market. HRL’s participation in the CIIE, in collaboration with the Uganda Coffee Development Authority, aims not only to enhance the visibility of Ugandan coffee products in the Chinese market but also to offer Chinese consumers a wider variety of coffee options.
As the Ambassador of the Uganda Coffee Industry Alliance to China and its representative, HRL shoulders the mission of advancing China-Uganda coffee industry cooperation. At this exhibition, BUZZPERK’s booth was uniquely designed with an Ugandan theme, showcasing the distinctive characteristics of Ugandan coffee production regions. The booth featured several flagship products, including African-style small coffee cans. It also presented a variety of Ugandan specialty coffee beans and invited professional baristas to prepare coffee on-site, allowing visitors to experience the charm of Ugandan coffee up close, attracting many attendees to stop and taste.
